A two-on-two Contest Battle A Contest Battle (Japanese: コンテストバトル Contest Battle) is an anime-exclusive Pokémon battle variation and the second round of a Pokémon Contest. These battles are different from regular battles in the sense that it is not only the strength of an attack that matters, but also the style of its execution.
